WHO IS INKFABLE MEDIA?

InkFable Media is a long lasting dream of friends who met in the Caribbean at college. It actually started in the wee hours one night over a conversation about comics and illustration on a whole, whilst doing their respective class assignments. The idea of building a comic book series and an Illustrative Design company. Both parties went their own ways and remained in contact throughout the years. But it was a trip to a comic con in Toronto that sparked the urge to revisit working in illustration versus their current working lives.

Who is InkFable Media? An Illustration and Design Company that also involved in creating brand new independent properties for consumers. It has been a passionate idea and dream of the members invested to have content people can enjoy whether it be from a webcomic, illustrations or design for advertising.

Born in the cold north and raised under the heat of the Caribbean sun, Kyle has been drawing since he was 4 years old. But the love for illustration in all forms started with the Sunday comics he read, that and seeing a Corvette Stingray for the first time. Since that time Kyle had been creating artwork first as a hobby, then moving on to Edna Manley School of the Visual and Performing Arts, studying Visual Communications. There he met Bryan Smart and they became friends. During his time at the school, he was hired by a design firm and continued to work in the advertising world for thirteen and half years until he was fortunate enough to take the time to start InkFable Media.

To describe Bryan in as little words as possible would be to say he has an eclectic persona. An almost reclusive individual, you never see him coming with the art he produces until its the end game and his fanatic attention to detail will leave you in awe. Bryan met Kyle Smith during his years at Edna Manley School of Visual and Performing Arts, and immediately hit it off. Oddly they share many of the same thought processes. Since then they have been quietly collaborating ideas to bring forward InkFable Media as a company. Bryan's talents lie in the ability to create on the fly if need be and make changes where necessary. He is a master of fine detail inking and his use of colour whether traditional or digital media is very distinct.
